I have a project where I need four PWM signals to control 4 motors. I was planning on using a microcontroller with PWM pins so this process can run in the background. The chips I've found have about 100 pins. I was wondering if anyone knew of a chip with 4 PWM outputs that was DIP so I could easily build a prototype of my circuit on a bread board. If I do have to go with the other type of chip would anyone have suggestions on how I can easily prototype my circuit on a bread board? Thanks for the help.

ATtiny2313 from Atmel has 4 PWMs. They also have a AT90PWMxx that has more.

Microchip also has some devices that come in DIP and have multiple PWM channels.
