Before you go installing a new OS as a dual-boot, check to see if the software you find could be run using either Cygwin or Microsoft Services for UNIX. This may provide you an option for running software designed for UNIX-based OSes on Windows.thanks hgmjr,
i could not find anything useful for windows.
i guess i will have to dual boot windows and linux
and use ucsim.
