Hello all.

I'm trying to think what is the best way design a memory map for a given system.

In my system I have some ROM chips, some RAM chips and a PIA. Is there a specific way I should organize things? What would be the advantages or organizing it one way or the other?

Isn't it always preffered to have the ROM at the "top" of the memory, i.e. XXXX-FFFF?

It depends entirely on the architecture of the chip, and the application.
