I am new to the world of reading electrical schematics and would like to confirm that I am reading the attached symbol correctly. My thoughts are that it is a normally closed contact, and when the coil is energised, the contact is opened by the coil and mechanically latched open (as seen by the coil symbol) as the coil would lose its supply as soon as the contact opens. Is this correct? I would assume that in this case, the mechanical latch would need to be reset manually to move the contact back to the normally closed position? Apologies for the quality of the drawing.
