MCU to cope with DALI protocol. Experience?

Hi,
I am searching for most adequate MCU for my DALI (DIgital Adressable Lighting Interface) DIY lighting project.

The minimum requirements of DALI protocol and system are 26b EEPROM, 4kB flash memory, 4PWM , UART/USART for serial dali communication.

I was thinking about TI MSP430F2131 or Atmel AT90PWM series..

Please, does anyone have any experiences on implementing DALI withPOWER LED lighting system?
