How to calcluate maximum burden resistance across CT.
I have CT with 60Hz frequency.

I want to generate 2.5V across it to measure it across adc.

How to calculate what could be maximum & minmum values of burden resistor for proper operation i.e withot saturating the core.

 

What is the model of current transformer,is there a datasheet?

The manufacturer's data sheet should inform you of that matter. Do you not have the CT specs or model?

If the CT was designed for AC mains switchboard current monitoring it may have been designed for a secondary 0-5A AC ammeter movement.

 

I also have a CT I'd like to use, but NO datasheet. It was removed from a UPS and had single loop of 14ga running through it. Is there any way to Determine when saturation occurs? Obviously any resistor will develop a voltage and a curve could be measured but I assume the Recommended value is for best linearity.
