I am having hard time tracing part made by Maxim.
Does they ship from factory suppliers.

Unless you have a prefered supplier when fishing for parts start with FindChips which is not a distributor but a search engine which queries many distributors to find your part.

I have had times when obtaining Maxim parts has been near impossible. They prefer to sell items in full reels, and if not available thru distribution that can be come costly.
