If "cheap" is a hard requirement I suggest going to EBay and search around for "relay rs232".

Last time I was looking for a cheapie PC controlled relay board I found they came into two broad categories: signal relay that switch 1A max, and power that do 5 or 10 or more amps.

What do you want to do with it?

There may be other ways of getting what you want. For example: you can use a lot of analog multiplexer chips to make one. There are analog crosspoint chips that are expandable to the 4 * 32 (don't remember who make 'em but the exist).

thanks for the reply..

* i want to control the relays based on my computer program.
To be specific : i want to generate binary logic to control the relays.
For eg:
0000 : all relays open..
0001 : Relay 0 closed
0010 : Relay 1 closed
0011 : Relay 0 and 1 closed
and so on...

thanks again,
jis
