I am looking magnetic digital compass sensor.
I have to show magnetic compass on LCD, north & in direction user is moving.

I was looking at HMC6352. Datasheet is attached

1. Page 7 of datasheet shows "Heading Mode". This is the angle.
For example data shows 10degree. Does that means 10 degree from north?

2. The package is in LLC. Does anyone digital sensor in more easily solderable package by hand.

3.It has one pin at the edge bending 90degree. What its purpose

Heading of 10 Degrees is from North. 90 Degree is due East Heading

The bent pin is the IC positioning reference pin used for assembly location in a PCB

Never seen that IC type other than LLC.
