I am try to find/build a Low Voltage Timer for Solar Lights;
1- Buy a store bought solar light
2- If possible use solar power for timer
2b- if not separate battery backup.
3- Minimally 2 separate time sets preferable more.
This would give me the abilty to turn on and off the light(s) instead of Dusk to Dawn.

Thanx

You can buy timers that only start at dusk, so that you can turn lights on for, say, 5 hours after dusk instead of all night.

There are also lamp timers that have their timing functions driven by a small battery instead of the mains. I've never used one to switch anything other than Christmas lights, but I bet you could hack it to switch whatever you like.

Is you goal to have your solar lights be on only around dusk and dawn, but not all night when nobody is awake to see them?
