I've noticed in the past month or so, lot of pages have video ads on them that don't start right away. I keep like 15 tabs open and shuffle back and forth between them. I'll open a page in one tab and read something, go to another opened tab and read something else, go to a different tab, etc and then next thing I know my speakers start blaring some ad and I have to quickly shuffle through my open tabs and find the offender before I lose my sanity. I thought it was just some annoying new trend until it happened on youtube. Watching a clip, and a video ad starts talking over it on the same page. I can't believe youtube would do that so I'm thinking maybe I have a virus inserting these ads into my pages. There's no mute or pause button on the ad; I just have pause my video, let it run its course, and then resume my video.

Anybody else seen this or just me?

I haven't seen one that you can't exit out of....sounds a little fishy.... maybe ask on a Google forum?

You have to stay off of those "adult" sites. :)

Have a google for "popup killers" or "internet ad killers".

    'Adbloc" works wonders for me.

i get the b0llocks also, and not from 'adult' sites.

they appear on random downloads, which are safe enough with the exception of bombarding you with this cack.

not much you can do apart from popup blockers
