I need a sensor which can be attached to the bottom of my foot to measure the force of a step. I need something that will survive repeated stomping and is relatively flat (so I can walk with it on the bottom of my foot). I'm new to electronics so I don't know where to begin, but my first thought was some sort of robust air bladder coupled with a pressure sensor or possibly something piezo based. What do they use in electronic drum pads?
