    Hi guys.

I'm in need of finding some equivalent (or better) components for a project.

I've tried searching for myself and using Mr Chips' component selection guide, but alas to no avail. :(

Could you guys help me out please?

    I'm needing alternatives to:

    LM387 http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/snosbt7a/snosbt7a.pdf
    MV209 http://rfkits.com/parts/MV209.pdf

I'm sure someone knows of some replacement or resource to help. :)

    Many thanks,

    Sparky

A priceless resource I have had since 1987 [ haven't tried to chase a new one yet, ] is a Philips ECG Semiconductors Master replacement guide.
I have long wondered how an outfit like Mouser, or Graingers, can afford to print their monster catalogs in such numbers.
There are a number of substitution websites available, tho' some are a PITA to use.
Google : "Semiconductor substitution guide" and take your pick.
