I live in Secunderabad, India. I'm looking for(a few units of) this SOT-323 pre-biased small signal transistor DTC114YU, and have not been able to find it in the local market. Would anyone help with where it will be available and how I can procure it?

Just a few. Maximum of 3 maybe. I need to replace one on the board, hence. If it is economical for me to pick up a few more and let the unused ones sit idle until their use, that will do as well.

Well yes, I did talk to DigiKey, Mouser, and also with element14's India Customer Service through their site http://shopping.kitsnspares.com/bon1/index.asp

Element14 had the part for Rs. 2/- and Rs. 5/-, but it was Rs. 150 for shipping alone !!! The rest said they would ship it from the US @ $40. {In Indian context, such costs for shipping inside India are quite on the higher side, with the usually reliable Indiapost Speedpost costing at the most Rs. 25/-}

 

Finally, got 10 units of the part from Element14/kitsnspares.
