I have an equipment that uses ultrasonic waves... but at times it fails.I need a transducer that will be able to detect the presence of ultrasound and correspondingly an LED should light up.

I came across few pairs of TX and RX in d market. not sure how to use the Rx part alone....

Any help??

Hello,

You could try to look for a bat detector circuit.
That will convert the ultrasonic sound to a sound you can hear.

The part, datasheet, schematics are all available here. It operates on 40KHz. Are you going to construct it or just buy it?

Unfortunately, the values on the components are not given. Maybe you have to buy the kits or hunt for another similar circuit on the net.
