I've Purchased a few LEDs on Ebay Recently and they are in a packaging that is somewhat abnormal at least as far as I can tell. Can anyone offer some suggestions as to something I could use to disipate heat on these leds. The problem I'm seeing is that the Anodes and Cathodes are protruding straight out of the bottom as opposed to out of the sides. Making it difficult to find a solution.

You can dissipate the heat with large lands on the PCB you mount them on.
The cathode part must be the largest.( about 70 mm^2).
