Hello guys ..I have used an LM7805 voltage regulator in my project . However when i try to simulate I am getting an error " couldn't open library file "LM7805 _7812_7815.lib" so I guess I need spice models for the regulators to add to the DIO file ..May yu kindly send if you have them .Thank you

 

Regulators are not diodes, so don't belong in the DIO file.
A common reason for the error message is that your model file is in the wrong place.
What version of LTS are you using? What OS?
Have you downloaded and saved that lib file?

I don't know where to download there lib file and where to put it .Maybe you can help

 

If your OS is Win10 then by default the lib file goes in your User/Documents/LTspiceXV11/lib/sub folder and the asy symbol files go in User/Documents/LTspiceXV11/lib/asy folder.

 

Why would you need a spice model of a three-terminal voltage regulator?
Can you not treat it as an ideal voltage source?

 

Why do you show such helplessness.
