Hello,

I am working on a frequency to voltage converter circuit based on the LM331 IC. I am just wondering if there is away that I can improve the output response of the circuit. I am basing my design on the F/V circuit, figure 6 page 10 of the datasheet.

So as an example of what I am asking for is as such;
Lets say there is a Fin=10khz and the Vo=10V.
but as I decrease the frequency from 10khz to like 7khz, the response is not too fast.
Not just that particular increment that I mentioned but any decrement, I would like to get a faster response.

Does anyone have experience with this chip that can help.
Or should I try the next circuit in the data sheet figure 7?
