A few weeks ago, I cursed out my boss and walked off the job. Now, I'm on a one-year contract in Orlando. Nice weather! There is alot I want to see in the year I'll be here.

Honestly, I beileve my one-year contract will last as long as my last company will. They were not only on the skids, but were mischarging contracts, and will eventually be caught and prosecuted.

Hello Brownout. I thought I hadn't heard from you in a while. Good to see you back! Best wishes with the new job--I hope it goes well, and that you enjoy the Florida weather. I'd give almost anything to be there right now :D

Regards,
Matt

I'm in Tampa if you wanna go out one night and party. Tampas a much bigger party town then O-town. But if you find your self board or out of place just lemme know and I'll fix you up. I know lots of people here. Only 1:15 drive. Also thats cool brownout I may want to get your help on some projects I'm working on so its nice to have someone close that could look at a problem. I have lots of dev kits and stuff like that if you ever need it, and a place on the water if you wanna get away.

PS Its gonna be a really cold winter this year. Its already colder then it got the entire year last year. But typically a FL winter will be 2-4 times a year it will get down to 35. Half the time its 70/50

DONT GET ILL! We have nearly no healthcare or social services here.
Try the original Outback, Shells, Bonefish Grill, Caraba's, etc.... They all started here then franchised.

Thats a lil for now but I'll keep thinking. If you wanna go out and party one night lemme know I'm down. We have another member across the bridge in St Pete too so maybe we can grab him. You know the Biotches go crazy for EE nerds!

A place on the water? That's amazing! Last year I was coming back from a canoe trip in Sarasota and passed by the bay. I was much more scenic than I imagened. The water was emerald colored, and there looked to be some nice paddeling places. I will probably come back to there at least a couple times, and I'd be happy to look over anything you have cooking. Unfortunately, I left my lab back in Huntsville, but I did bring a couple dev kits to play around with. I have my pickit3 and an objective for a battery controller for boats and RV's. Also just ordered http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/FTDI/FT4232H-MINI-MODULE/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMvOu2nvEqRMlDWzAHNypBZh this guy to program for general I/O from my computer. I don't have the space for much more. I'll spend more time just being in the great outdoors :)

UPDATE: I just heard from my collegue that the feckless boss I cursed out was fired and told he would never work there again. They finally figured out that everything I told them was true, and it only took 3 years for them to crack the case. Of course, I had to e-mail HR and do the "I told you so" thing. Heck I'm not worried about not being welcomed back. They too should be fired eventually.

I know,, I'm just pointing out its a sensitive issue here. They pop up everywhere and ruin peoples lives. I've even had to tow my car out of my yard because the wheels fell thru a sink hole and my truck was sitting on its chassis. Then comes the city, inspectors, evacuation, then weeks of them putting concrete in holes. This is just a tiny one too. It would of only taken half of my house and half of my neighbors house. We have so many because in winter the berry farmers use tons of water to keep their berries from freezing and keeping them watered. This drains the water table way way below what it should be creating massive sinkholes all over the place. Its really become an epidemic the past 5 years.
