    Hey guys.

    For a final project for one of my classes, I am to develop a Li-Ion Battery Management system with temperature sensing, state of charge, over/under charge, protection, and balancing. It's for an embedded systems class in which we're using an HCS12 microcontroller. I'm not too far into my electronics class, and I'm having a lot of trouble understanding how to go about doing this (temperature sensing problem is solved, as is the user interface/how we'll show our results. I'm having the most trouble with the actual battery problems.) I was hoping maybe you can direct me to some good resources on learning how to develop said system.

    We're going to be using these batteries (http://www.atbatt.com/product/19947.asp#tabs_2), 6 cells. There will be a series of 3, 2 parallel cell packs.
