Leroy-Somers single phase 115/230 volt motor wiring

If it's wired now and the only question is high or low.

Run it on 120vac. It will run fine but under powered if wired 240.

thanks for the insight. This is mounted to a vacuum pump on a bottling line. Most of the machine on the line runs 3 phase 208V. All of the Leroy-Somers single phase info I got was strictly for 230V as that is all they sell in Europe. so I have a motor with US voltages but a European style terminal block. I guess I'll try the 115V option first. And yes the blue crimps were the existing field connections so there were only 2 line feeds.

That should be what op is looking for.

Wonder why the current connection doesn't seem to match though.:confused:

I see now.
Looks like a non-standard 220 connection.
If the middle top terminal is jumpered left or right it should work.
As would your diagram.

blue wire is U1, white wire is V2 and black wire is V1
Orange is Z2, Red is U2 and brown is Z1. I think that this must be a nonstandard connection to the terminal block since Z2, U2 and V2 are all jumpered(as in 110V) but the line connections are at U1 and Z1(as in 220V).
