I just wanted to share this with you guys, I just built it and it works perfect

Very useful for measuring fast voltage drops that a traditional DMM can't read.

You can adjust the reading with the pot (100k) to increase/decrease the voltage range. I'll be using mine for a car so I did 11.7v - 14.5v

The other thread was for audio this one is for voltage.

 

Since there is no peak detector, you will only see things slow enough for your eye to see. And LEDs have a persistence so a fast drop will be masked by the residual brightness of the LED.
