LED output at different pulse frequencies?

Trying to find out what happens to the visible output of an LED/Laser diode if a pulse flow at 50Hz is increased to 1000Hz, regards John

What do you mean? You can vary the brightness, but the color stays the same. Think PWM, which is much the same thing.
