Led or dot matrix display

I have a total of 10 relay outputs from my PLC. I want to use an LED or DOT MATRIX display to tell me which output is on ("1", "2", "3", etc.). Does anyone have a schematic or know where I can find a kit that would make this possible?

I imagine that I will need to take my relay outputs to a driver of some sort, but I haven't "dabbled" with displays at all. Any direction you could give would be appreciated. Once I understand the basics about how the components tie together, I hope to accomplish an alpha-numeric display. But, first things first.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Post your schematic of what you have so far, preferably in .PNG format.

If you don't know how to export a .PNG file from your schematic capture program, then do a screen print by pressing Ctrl+PrintScreen, then start MS Paint, paste in the image using Ctrl+V, crop to suit, and save it in .PNG format.

Then edit your post, use the Go Advanced button, and Manage Attachments; click the 1st Select File button, navigate to where you saved the photo, select it and then click Upload.
