ive just been asked to make an led cake decoration with 4 red leds in a line 4 inches long.yes i get all the good jobs...
i am thinking of cutting a strip of pcb as narrow as possible , so i will have little space for individual on board resisstors.

is there a way of wiring the leds with just a pair of copper traces on the board, and a single resisstor or w.h.y at the battery end which can be a small distance away and hidden?

i seem to recall doing something similar years ago with uv leds but had problems with the leds not showing equal brightness.

any suggestions much appreciated

problem solved i think-- 5 volt or 12 volt leds with built in resistor
