I have an LED 555 timer project that I would like to change. I got the design from the internet; which I hand drawn to paper. The circuit right now uses 6vDC; which I have built and works. I would like to run it from a 12vDC battery source. What changes would I need to make? How many LED's can I run in series/parallel?

Thanks for any help!

At 12V , 555 @ 20 ma , output .2V & 10.75V [ measured], blue 3 LEDs with 110Ω, red , 5 LEDs with 62Ω, or maybe better, 4 LEDs with 160Ω. Using max current from 555 @ 200 mA, could use 10 strings, might cut back a string or two for longevity. All figures subject to review.
