Hi,
I want to make a .txt file reader which reads from an SD Card and displays the text file contents onto an LCD. This circuit must be battery operated size AA. I tried googling up LCD Interfacing and bla bla but did not succeed in finding a relevant answer so I turn to this forum. HELP PLEASE!!!

I am from Pakistan and no it is not a homework. I am just a newbie in electronics and logic design at my uni so thought of getting a hands-on approach at these subjects by doing some hobby circuit

Could be any programming language (all depends on the micro you choose)
If this is a one off thing you could just use and arduino uno board,microSD shield, and an LCD. That would be all you need.. circuit done..Then you just need to program it.
