I was wondering if any body has tried to interface LabVIEW with the FT232H chip using synchronous FIFO mode.

I am comtemplating whether or not this chip would work for my design and was looking for some feedback about how easy and resourceful it is to interface this chip with LabVIEW.

 

There are freely available drivers to do this. It is not bad at all. It's as simple as wiring the baud rate and mode to a VI icon and away you go.
