Hello
I'm looking for a device (or a solution) to put at the input of my small signal amplifier, that can withstand 1000 V for 50 ms. I have no earth (battery powered) so I can not sink it through a varistor, spark gap etc. It has to endure ....
It will need to have a high input impedance as well due to the signal source's high output impedance (100's of kohm and signals in the mV-range).
If anyone can think of a component that could help me out I would be gratetful.
