I have not used my multimeter for a couple of months and it does not power up the screen. The only thing that works is the NCV button that beeps and lights the red led.

I put fresh batteries into it.

 

If you have not used it for some time, make sure that all the battery contacts are very clean and that a battery has not leaked onto a switch or circuit board.

 

Does the display or bulb work,?

 

I have a Klein NCV device that never worked right from the start. No clue what foreign engineering is behind this but nothing but issues.
