I'm building a outdoor warning siren/controller with various ways of control methods with a 80C52 Basic MCU. Is there anyone who could give me some examples of Keypad/LED control via RS-485 communication circuits and/or basic source code similar to those used in security system keypad data buses. I'm fairly new to microcontrollers. I have wrote the code for everything else except this function and have yet to venture into control/indication communication application/programming.
