I have just obtained a 6Kv @0.5A supply with a 4 pin molex input and One Hv Output.
Molex: (1) Null,
(2) GND
(3) V-in
(4) Remote relay active low
I should fire up as is. But to be safe, I have two questions.
1) I'm feeding the 24v and Ground from a 24v /0.5A wall wart to V-in & Ground on the molex. Do I ground the Hv wire to Earth, (The ground post of my wall socket?)
2) As pin (4) is active low I should be able to ignore it and simply toggle the power from the 24V supply. But if I can use a relay it would be much more elegant. Should I attempt to feed a transistor driven 24V relay off/on switch through pin 4 on the Molex input?
