Do you understand any of this economy that Is
world wide. I was In box store,no plastic Incased
tools. $25.00 for small xmas stuffed santa type things.
What up,no set of tools that we have purchased in
the past because they were four bucks. Fast food owners
are sueing about being forced to sell double burgers
two for a buck. The dollar Is worth .73 cents,so a math
question is that gold and silver you have worth
a dollar par valve.

I think that I understand the economy well enough to keep my head above water, worry about the things I can control, and let go of the things I can't. You seem to be seriously disaffected. I hope you can find a way through the maze.

I think you miss my real point, the box stores are selling stuffed
x-mas Item by entrance Instead of tools priced at $25.00,the
last few years It has been $ 4.00 tools sets. The Importers have
raised the stakes. Changed your choice, visit a box store.
I should not change subjects when posting, the dollar and box
stores are two different subject. But we always have time to do
It over. Done.

I don't think I changed the point. You and I have no control over the merchandising and pricing decisions of the box stores. The thing we can control is going into the box store and purchasing an item there.

Look at it this way. If I refuse to purchase a $4.00 imported tool set and they stack up in inventory then either the box store will go out of business or they will stock the $25.00 tool set from a domestic manufacturer that people like you and me will buy.

Like I said I don't think imported tool sets and box stores is the problem. I believe there is something more serious going on that you may be unable or unwilling to confront. The tenor of many of your posts suggests that you have numerous unresolved issues that we as individuals and forum members are unable to do anything about. We can however encourage introspection on your part which may lead you to seek your own solutions to your real and perceived problems. I hope that you succeed in your quest.

But I like Harbor Frieght! Good name, but I also think of them as the China Out Let Discount store. I wouldn't ever buy drill bits, but most of it is OK. Why drill bits? Had some bend (not break) trying to use them, flat out didn't work.
