Hi

Is there a connector that can connect to an ISP footprint without soldering some male header on the board?

Thanks

What's wrong with using male pin headers?
I often see those on someone's tear down video on youtube, I am just interested in how they actually connect to the ISP and program the chip.

Are they no good for regular use?

The male pins mate to a matching female header. There's one in a PICkit 2 or 3.

I use them all the time in breadboards, and in an upcomming 1-off unit will use them to connect an LCD display.
