Is there any way of voting against someone without voting FOR someone else?

As with you I have suspicions far more 'Unofficially sanctioned or requested' snooping goes on behind the scenes with those agencies than ever gets admitted to. If they did they would never get anything done.

I have yet to ever work for any business or company that didn't have more than whatever went on official records going on in real day to day activities. Officially stuff never happened. Unofficially and off the company records and knowledge of the higher ups it was done all the time and for countless reasons most of which were totally benign in action and intent.

Hell, I knowing and willingly participated in it quite regularly where the actions of reporting something and making it an officially documented incident or action (because some new policy said so Vs the old one not caring) was such a pain the ass can of worms to open that just ignoring and or denying something happened or was done was the best thing to do for everyone that could have possibly been involved.

As a service technician on paper no machine I have ever worked on ever spilled a drop of fluid over the reportable and recordable amount ever anywhere any time. Unofficially it was common to work on something that emptied it guts out someplace and was cleaned up without a trace off the records.

Same with what I know of from other peoples daily work and what they see. I have family who work with local business and government department (schools courthouses and the like) computer networks who by their own job actions see loads of things that probably aren't suposed to be seen. Do they report it? Nope. Not worth losing your job and creating a never ending shyte storm because you found some government office clerk or school official has some files documenting something likely benign, but maybe not, on the systems that may or may not have anything to do with them having actually done anything illegal.

Knowing that happens in my lowest end of the system and knowing what gets covered up or ignored in higher levels for the same reasons (just to not have to deal with nonsensical irrationally driven bureaucracy of it all that will end in nothing but a lot of good peoples wasted time and money) I have every reason to suspect that President Trumps accusations likely do have some merit.
Maybe not provable or of significant validity to mean anything to the extents some are implying but still. I suspect that people who work and deal with things at his level get snooped on all the time for any number of reasons legally justified or simply out of personal curiosity or by accident by those who have the capacity to do so even when their official procedures say not to.

How many janitors and custodians worldwide see official documents on people's desks or in their garbage cans daily that they are officially not supposed to see and read but do just because their jobs give them access to such locations that stuff like that is kept?
Did they snoop? Well sort of but not officially and in many cased not even on purpose and like hell they will admit to it without someone else putting a lot of pressure on them to admit to it even if they never did see anything that was of any real valid concern ever to begin with! ;)

Given these points from the article.

Bullshitters, as philosopher Harry Frankfurt wrote in his 1986 essay “On Bullshit,” don’t care whether what they are saying is factually correct or not. Instead, bullshit is characterized by a “lack of connection to a concern with truth [and] indifference to how things really are.” Frankfurt explains that a bullshitter “does not care whether the things he says describe reality correctly. He just picks them out, or makes them up, to suit his purpose.”

In addition to being unconcerned about the truth (which liars do care about, since they are trying to conceal it), Frankfurt suggests that bullshitters don’t really care whether their audience believes what they are saying. Indeed, getting the audience to believe something is false isn’t the goal of bullshitting. Rather, bullshitters say what they do in an effort to change how the audience sees them, “to convey a certain impression” of themselves.
.........

First, misinformation is notoriously hard to correct once it’s out there, and social media, in particular, has a reputation for spreading factually inaccurate statements and conspiracy theories.
..........

The authors found that people tend to latch onto stories that fit their preexisting narratives about the world and share those stories with their social circle. The result is a “proliferation of biased narratives fomented by unsubstantiated rumors, mistrust, and paranoia.”
........

a communications strategy based on bullshit inherently makes enemies of anyone who would seek to reinstate the truth and expose his statements as bunk.
........

So although he’s corrected frequently by journalists and on social media, it’s a very real possibility that he’s simply shut out anyone or any source of information that threatens his way of seeing things.
Hmm. Seems we have 3 - 4 well ingranded Bullshiters in this thread, yet they're the ones who don't like President Trump.

Perceive him as unfair competition due to superior skill over them? Simple minded jealousy perhaps? o_O

Does give plausible explanation way too well. Haters hate anything they see s superior competition

Bullshit and rage on little haters. Bullshit and rage on. It will help you cause in the end. (and that's no BS. Really!) :D

You're right, a little fact checking effort easily caught wayneH, killivolt and Joeyd999 spewing nonsense recently. When will they stop!
Speaking of Sh** you gave yourself a Sh** point in another Thread. I think I'll just consider the source on this one.

So you think Trumps a lair not a BS artist? Or do you think there is a third category for his stories?
What's an ingranded?

I think it has something to do with 'fake news' covering what a 'fake president' says.
I think it will be a new term entered into the dictionary...

ingranded - initially unverifiable statement that has been made by the president, verified by many to be found false but actively promoted as "alternative facts" has been ingranded as truth

And once a again you show your true child like colors and general ignorance of things and instead of stepping up and acting like an adult and admitting your views are weak and worse you go off acting like a impudent butt hurt 10 year old and just keep mouthing off.

In the likely case you don't know what 'Impudent' means in this context given you clearly have extreme difficulty following simple topically relevant contexts and that its also painfully clear you guys lack the basic skills to do a relevant internet search for the correct meaning of something. http://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/impudent. (The more you know, and mostly just to keep you from reading up on Viagra by ignorant mistake.):D

Theres putting up a good fight and under dogging your way out to a win and then there's just being too full of impudent pride and or not having the intelligence, self respect and decency to see or admit your stance is not proving anything but just how painfully immature, out of touch and uninformed (or just outrightly dumb) you are and above all that you obviously lack the maturity and self respect to be able to keep your mouth shut to hold on to what little respect from others you may have left. :(

Probably not this post but dang, o_O

When I interview scientists and engineers, my biggest goal is to figure out their level of self-awareness. That is, do they know how much they don't know vs. do they think they know everything (or in some cases, think they know nothing and are completely paralyzed about entering the workforce).

If they have a good grasp of what they know and don't know, then I start asking HOW they would go about (learning/teaching themselves/researching) what is missing from their toolkit of "know-how". Those that can identify the gap in know-how they they are missing for a chemical/mechanical or DCS/mechanical or other multi-disciplinary problem, they get the offers.
Going by his own standards of evaluation of people he should have fired himself and his cohorts from this thread months ago for gross negligence over failing to have properly policed himself to his own standards.

Kinda makes you concerned about what sort of people he has authority over at work doesn't it? Are they the scientists and engineers that certain media and political groups who continually undermine their own credibility consult with?:oops::(

This comes from a group of people that ignore things that are clearly wrong?????
Chew on a couple of these little nuggets.
Feb. 7, 2017: Lied that the murder rate was the highest in 45 years
Feb. 10, 2017: Claimed without evidence that “thousands” of people were bused across state lines to vote.
Feb. 16, 2017: Lied about winning the most Electoral College votes since Ronald Reagan.
Feb. 6, 2017: Claimed that terrorist attacks across Europe are “not even being reported”
Jan. 26, 2017: Lied about Mexico’s president “agreeing to cancel” a meeting
Jan. 25, 2017: Lied about two people being shot and killed during Obama’s farewell speech

There are scores more if you care to look.
I patiently await your evidence that these little Trumpisms are not BS.

Feb. 19 2017. Terrorist attack in Sweden

And it doesn't stop with just the supreme leader/ liar -

Mar 16 2017, Spicer says it was GCHQ that spied for Obama.

Jan 29 2017 and then again Feb 3 2017 Conway puts out the 'Bowling Green' massacre news to the world.

And it goes on and on. Doesn't bother the supreme leaders supporters though, since they do the same thing.

19 thousand at crowd right now. With all this smear.

Do you really believe that polls or the press know the American people?
No and it's going to get smelly. Doesn't matter who's side you take, it's not yet to the point we can see all the points. I doubt we will see anyone taking the sword.

Edit: Gorsuch, maybe be a rook, not someone the Dems want to loose to.
