is there a substitute or equivelant for the
LT1302CN8-5 IC? wondering because i order all my parts from digikey. they have 99% of all the parts ive ever needed. they are out of stock. i contacted them. if i need one i have to order like 10 or more for a minimum order. it would be nice to make one big order than have to order from different company and pay extra shipping. thank you!

 

There isn't an authorized distributor that I can find who has those LT1302 IC's except for Element14 in China.

You could try buying direct from Linear Technology using a credit card. See their website.

I can't think of any equivalents of the top of my head, but a google search might turn something up.

The Newark site will ship them from Farnell UK for a $20 fee - but at that price, you're over $30 for just the IC. You may as well just throw the thing in the trash.

 

Try contacting Linear Technology and see if you can get a sample.
