Is Talent A Mental Illness Or Is Psychiatry A Junk Science?

For some of you your minds are in the gutter or you can leap ahead of your brain and learn something new.:(
Unfortunately at the moment, the overall social psyche is tuned to take everything as the individual wants to read it to be and not what it is contextually and factually based on and or with or where from source wise and we all get to pay for those misinterpretations at some level.

If you or the topic you speak of are not on their (contextually anyone's) radar you can pretty much do and say whatever you want but if you are on their radar everything will have way more read into it than is there or even be dismissed for that the facts and reality in play justifies. ;)

Pretty much how one person can list his educational speaker list and get hit for "poltical rants" because said educational speakers are commonly perceived to be of a certain less factually discredited poltical affiliation (when they infact are confirmably not of that affiliation) and how a common biblical word any 5 year old can say is a taken as infraction worthy offence profanity while others can F-bomb and post links to what same certain sensitive personalities could/should/would easily take to be highly politically questionable/offensive to them content to whatever limit they want and yet not raise an knowingly biased eyebrow towards it.

Heck, the fact I put "a certain less factually discredited poltical affiliation" in this post could warrant a deleting, and possibly my banning at this point, given certain people of certain mindsets could take all of it as obvious 'poltical ranting' or even outright 'trolling' and not as contextually relevant examples of current localized social circle hot-button psyche bias tuning triggers becauseit could easily taken to be 'trolling' with microaggressions by using examples, I have personally been targeted for thanks to someone else's biases, and not trying to make a topically relevant example of how one thing can be seen as two completely different things, even if one is totally unfounded in reality simply because key words touched on certain emotional trigger hot buttons for certain persons right now.

Interestingly, to you as someone who's radar is likely not tuned to this present situational frequency you could care less about the relevance, but to certain others if I hit their emotional bias hot button it's an all out nuclear attack on them and their view of good/bad, right/wrong, winning/losing or however they want to take anything and to what extreme personally, which if said bias triggers reactions are taken to enough of an extreme even my choice of emojis and punctuation usage is clear and obvious intent to offend (in their view). :(

All I have to do is post something, like when I first came to the site in the open forum rather than just using it's well formed information. One person took my posts as offensive because I defend people who many on this site don't care for, I personally hate bullies and have the ability to spot deviant behavior, I worked at a Youth Correction facility and passed the Phsycology Testing Courses with ease, 99 percentile of the class, I missed 1 question. I graduated the Academy, I am the only Tech level III in the state to do so. I felt it should have been the best thing I should do since I had to work with the kids in order for them to pay off their fines to the community.

Now as to this site, when I did begin posting there was one individual who repeatedly chastised me with every post. This person apparently hasn't grown or is just offended at everyone and anyone he cannot tolerate. I was surprised when the mods allowed that behavior yet post something educational is offensive, but I don't care google is your friend if you want to learn the history of a stupid word that everyone uses yet has no idea what it's original meaning was, it might just make them use it less because it truly was not intended to be a word at all.

Some Munk twisted the meaning into what we have today. My wife has been in daycare for over 30 years and yet she and I can't believe the level of people with educations far above us who are so petty and get their under pants in an uproar over nothing.

So, to the mod who deleted my source I know you feel you have to protect children, but they should be educated at the same time and nothing I posted was intended otherwise I posted it as a well meaning Adult that has raised over 13 children in my life and anyone who feels otherwise can kiss off, because I will consider the source of foul little petty people who want to just pick at people with ill intent.

Better be careful about posting anything that's got the "F-BOMB" in it (either verbatim or embedded in something else). o_O
Whoa! I didn't notice that they actually changed the name of the song into F-bomb until now:eek:. Because that makes my comment moot!!!!!!!!!.

The name(filename) of the song that he wrote explained the whole story... So let me explain without the f-bomb..

They call it googleityourself.com.... nowadays because when he wrote it google was in it's infancy

I don't disregard your edit, I just listed my content for others to learn for themselves the URL got undone and therefor you have a very incomplete post, I don't mean to <snip> but ya just not cool. Kids need to learn and learning about such stupidity can reveal much about our current culture, just saying. I wasn't trying to be funny, cool or otherwise. I was very serious and it became something just about the people on this site with very thin skin. Go figure, much to do about nothing, right?

Sincerely,

kv

The guy was committed to a mental hospital in lieu of being sent to prison for murder.

The flaw is NOT that inmates at the hospital were allowed too much freedom, the flaw is that mental hospitals are being used to incarcerate people who should be in prison in the first place. This guy avoided prison by pleading (or being found by a judge) not guilty by reason of insanity. However, anyone who is capable of committing murder should not be allowed to get off by pleading insanity.
Sure, he should have been in prison.

At one time I knew a lot of people capable of committing murder and a few that did under the cover of being safe than sorry later. These those people were not criminal psychopaths, had respectable jobs, had families and I wold have trusted them with my kids. I learned how to mainly compartmentalize the few horrors I saw others commit over the years and I guess they did too for the things they did. I guess what I saying is that there is a big difference between a killer in a insane state of mind caused by real circumstances and a mentally deranged necrophiliac psychopath.

RAther where we all are in some aspects right now. Who learned how to deal with what and when and who didn't, but really need to at this point.

Same with the cultural emotional moshpit perception and reaction issues right now. Certain people are determined to have everyone's emotional depth paper thin while also having their reactional drives turned up well past overload.

Oddly something that every kid really needs to watch the fallout of that lifestyle firsthand a few time just to see exactly what will happen when they let their emotions and reactionary reflexes go unchecked.
For most the sheer embarrassment of seeing some fully grown adult act like a 3 year old having a over the top nuclear meltdown temper tantrum over something so trivial a child would know better is enough to shock them into putting an active effort into making sure they don't act that way.

Same with being confronted by someone in full on reactional mode that explodes in their face over nothing. (moms on their 'bad week' were pretty good at instilling that fear in old days.) :p

The rest is communication and solid adherence to the old core unspoken social interaction rules like,

Don't over react or someone will likely throw it right back in your face.
Don't read too much into something or you might not like (what you didn't actually find) and who's on the other end of it.
Don't act like a petty fool or obnoxious idiot to get out of owning up to your weaknesses/failings. You'll just look worse in everyone else's eyes for it.
If someone made the effort to knock you on your butt the odds are you more than earned it.
What goes around comes around and it usually has a pretty high return on investment.
Power, influence, responsibility and respect are inseparably tied together. Abuse one and you will lose all four way sooner that you thought.
Don't pick a fight with someone smaller than you. The odds are they know someone's who's bigger than you.
If you do pick a fight and they try to talk you out of it, listen to them. They probably know something about the likely outcome you don't.

I noticed that this post was liked.
My opinion is that it's not like that.
The malevolent wants to help him hide his actions.

In fact you as the victim protect the aggressor and by hiding you stop people close to you to helping you.

Yes you're quite right. Too often people protect the person acting inappropriately because they don't want to risk being called out for a similar action they know they have done, even if their own action was far less or totally irrelevant to what is happening. It's a twisted variant of not judging others for things you have done yourself. However, It's one thing to not harshly judge others for an equal action you have done yourself but it's another to let them have free and unlimited run in their actions well beyond acceptable limits.

For example, Murder of another person is wrong but smashing a bug is not, although technically it's murder just the same. It's dangerously wrong to dismiss the action of someone committing murder simply because you know you willingly smashed a bug at some point.

Also its overplaying undeserved compassion just to look virtuous or avoid real and necessary conflict. Too often people think that being compassionate is a virtue, which when implemented properly it is, but giving unlimited compassion to those who do not deserve it doesn't make you unlimited in your own virtue. Quite the opposite in fact. :(

I say dumb things all the time but I do not deliberately play stupid to get out of admitting I was wrong or lost an argument or whatever to get under other people's skin when they prove they know or can do something better than I do.

Same with false virtue signalling and letting people get away with clearly socially negative behavior out of fake sympathy or a desire to look more virtuous. I find it offensive.
The kind of virtue I grew up with was the old school John Wayne sort where you knocked someone on their butt for being stupid so that they would not do it again. I got knocked on my butt for dumb stuff all the time growing up but in turn now I don't do that nonsense as an adult because I now know what the social ramifications are of letting such behavior go unchecked. It's dangerously and destructively bad for everyone and shows a lack of respect and dignity in how you present and view your place in society.

Something that, unfortunately today, gets labeled as bullying or worse when it's not simply because people of certain social sects either now have no working knowledge or understanding of the what's and why's of how it is necessary to uphold and enforce limitations on all social interaction behavior both of your own and of others, or they know it but do not want to accept the fact they are not as emotionally mature and good and they think they are.

Ignorant or outrightly sore losers of the life and social interaction rules and value systems and why we have to have them. ;)

If we still talk openly, studies show that short-term stress can not get you mentally ill.

But long-term stress can make you mentally ill.

E.g.:
You made a car accident that scared you - That does not make you mentally ill.

Stay afraid for two years that the bank can get you out of the house and get into the street - that can get you mentally ill.

At the same time, the malevolant suggests neglect of food.
I know a person who has become mentally ill while being stressed at work as what he does is not good.
He forced his mind to be better and better.
He had not enough time to sleep at night.

In the morning, because he had to come to work, he were eating biscuits with coffee.

E.g.:
A friend called me to como him to talk about electronics.
- It's morning it takes 30 minutes to eat.
- You are stupid, not so.In the morning you have to drinking coffee and smoke a cigarette, not eat.
-Come to us to have a coffee together
- But it seems like my appetite for food has disappeared.......
- So this it's with coffee and cigarettes in the morning - the appetite for food disappear

(I avoided this groups. But the guy who told me that many years ago, I think now is on psychiatric treatment)
