i have a ir led and tsop7838 ir sensor... pulses are genrated when the path of ir is cut.. now i want to count these pulses and display it... but i dont know how?? pls help me...

 

first of all tell how many counts u want the ckt to do?

 

it may be 0 to 99... not more than that...

 

I tried to look up tsop7838 and only brought up your post. Can you post receiver schematic? A simple counter may be two 4017's & two 10 element bar graphs + input conditioning.
