Ok so i want to make IR night vision goggles.

But i need help with how to conect my IR camera with the digital LCD screen from an old digital camera...I would just use the camera as is with the IR filter removed but the part of the camera that captures the photos doesnt work.

Do i just remove the LCD completly of do i need to feed the IR camera's cable to somewhere in the original camera?

I'd go with the latter. Trying to remove parts like what you're talking about makes an experience tech shudder.
