I have connected an AIMS 300watt true sign wave DC/AC inverter directly to the batteries in my motor home, for the purpose of watching DirectTV without running the generator. The inverter runs the TV fine, however when powering the DirectTV receiver I get noise? Can you help?

What kind of noise? Snow, blocky picture, anything else?

 

Snowy,in a digital way, small flakes not large ones.

 

Try isolating the ground from the direct TV box. An ISOBAR could likely clean that up for you.
