Hello,

I am wondering about an inverter or converter. :) It's a DC to AC converter. :)

I am wondering if how many hours can it run appliances. :)

Some of my friends says that it can only run for an hour if there's a lot of appliances.

So guys, do you think, how many hours it can run some appliances approximately?

Thank you!

The answer depends on the battery - how much power it can deliver before it discharges to a level requiring recharge - and the load's power demand. In addition to the load, the inverter itself will waste a bit of power in making the conversion. So to operate an appliance at 100W for an hour, your inverter might add 20W and you would need a battery that can supply 120 watt-hours of power. Note that your inverter must be rated at a power level high enough to handle whatever load you have.
