Does anybody have an idea of the order of magnitude of the internal resistance in a mobile phone?

You will have to tell us what you mean by that. Internal resistance is not a concept I have ever heard applied to a phone or other complex electronic device.

The question is nonsensical but let's noodle it out anyway. An iPhone X battery is about 2,800 mAh. They advertise a talk time of ~24 hours. That means the current draw while talking is ~117 mA. The battery pack delivers a nominal voltage of 3.7V.

Per Ohm's law 3.7V = 0.117A x R and thus R = 32Ω.

This is nonsense since calling it "resistance" implies that the current would change as the supplied voltage changes. Not true. It's not like a lightbulb.

 

Or maybe the poster is asking about the headphone output impedance. I don't know the answer to that.

Actually, the current would increase as supply voltage dropped. Exactly not like a resistor.
