Design a circuit to filter 100 kHz and pass 2 KHz. The test circuit should contain a 2 KHz oscillator, a 100KHz oscillator, a filter circuit, and a 6 dB amplifier circuit.

Basically I need to create a low pass or bandpass ciruit to pass the desired frequency and reject the other. I originally went with a bandpass circuit. I am really confused to be honest though, and need some help getting started

 

Do you want to make a passive filter (use inductors, capacitors and resistors) or an active filter (use op-amp, resistors and capacitors)?

 

I need to creatve an active filter, using op amps(741 op amp)

The good news is that the 741 has such a poor response that you won't need much of a filter to eliminate the 100KHz.
