Interfacing Sonar to UP3 board (LCD display) using VHDL

Hi all,

I have 2 sets of code in VHDL created using Quartus II. One is to use a sonar sensor (SRF05 by Devantech), which I want to interface with the Alterra UP3 board LCD Display. I know that the output from the Sonar is a 16 bit value, but i am having trouble integrating the two codes together.

I guess its my lack of knowledge of how to do combination coding.

The codes are both attached, and any ideas/help would be good. Even just a start to the main program.
