Hi there.
I am looking at trying to interface a Basic Stamp 2 with an Atmel AT89C51, the purpose for this is:
1. I am trying to use a GPS module and have found a great deal of code which is based upon the BS2, especially when interfacing to a JP Module for datalogging as the datasheet provides example code for the BS2.
2. The AT89 will be used for other sensors.
Is this the correct way of going about it? As I have many things I am trying to implement into this device I want to try to reuse as much code/knowledge from other peoples projects as possible so i am able to spend more time on merging them all together into a single device.
If interfacing these two devices would be useful, do you have any ideas on how one would go about doing this?
