hi guys i am a beginner in electronics
I started a project on intercom
using Lm741
the project did not work quiet well ?

I wan to know how to put a mic in circuit effectively ?
what is high pass filter in reference to a mic ?
which amplification chip should be used?

i wouldn't use a 741, use a dedicated audio amp chip.

I want to know why we plug resistance and capacitor with mic before connecting with amplifying chip.
What is the drawback of 741 for intercom

 

The capacitor blocks the dc from the mic, but allows the ac audio to pass.

Can anyone tell what is a high pass filter in refer of mic?

It allows the high frequencies to pass through Treble 3Khz, whilst attenuating the low frequencies like Bass upto 300Hz. the cut off points are set by the R/C values.
