I had to swap fans for an ancient emulator. After opening the case, I saw a 28-pin 0.3" width windowed IC. It's branded with the Intel "i" and is marked "D85C588-7".
Google was friendly, but of no help. Neither were findchips.com nor alldatasheet.com.
Can anyone here help me with info on this chip? (A datasheet would be wonderful!!)
