Hi,
I'm designing an input filter for a DC/DC converter (voltage-programmed). The converter will provide power to quite a few PWM controlled loads working at 10 to 20 kHz, the total current going through the filter will roughly be 2.5A.
There are a few things I need to verify..
1. Looking at my attached circuits and plot (Zipped LTSpice files), have I correctly calculated the filter's output impedance by adding an AC voltage source to the output and plotting Vout / Iout on an linear scale?
2. Is the common mode choke both working as a common mode filter and a differential filter with this setup? Or should I add a pi-filter (CLC) after the common mode choke?
I appreciate all suggestions of improvements / corrections.
Thank you.
