I am currently thinking of starting a project including a valuables case which is opened by remote. Although i am not very experienced with phototransistors and infra red emitters. Any suggestions as to how i could draw up this circuit.

If you mean literally "how I could draw up this circuit", then pencil and paper is a good start.

As far as opening the case, you'll have to go into some considerable detail - what kind of case, what method of opening, etc.
