What happens when you put a second inductor in an AC circuit?

 

If it's in series, its impedance adds like 2 resistors. If it's in parallel, its impedance does an inverse add like 2 resistors.

 

If there is magnetic coupling between the inductors then a current through one can induce a voltage across the other.

 

If both leads are connected to ground it will have no effect.
